The Timmerfabriek is an old factory, situated in the center of the city. The atmosphere of the factory is suited for art, fashion expositions and cultural events; therefore a perfect location to host an extraordinary dinner for the European caters. The food-art dining experience enabled the caterers to enjoy the features of the impressive décor of the factory, the modern art of MARRES Art Gallery and to get pleasure from the food design.
The dinner consisted of four courses, served in a contemporary style by using innovative products and creative serving techniques. The caterers were plunged into a warm bath of gastronomy. The lounge setup enabled them to relax and more importantly, it provided the opportunity to get further acquainted with international colleagues.

This evening would not have been possible without the commitment, enthusiasm and support of the following companies: DGS Wijnkopers, Dilmah, Spadel, Maison Traiteur Carl 18.91, Deli XL, Bazelmans, Koppert Cress, Anouk van Ranst, Monte Scroppino, Gulpener, Libbey, Food Inspiration, Exporent, Cuise, ELS, House of Kent, Mise en Place, Maison van den Boer, GRO, Vital Air, Smart&Green, Compo Software, Pomms’, Ice Wizard, Traiteur de Paris, Out of Storage, BRS, Bellytray, Ecolab, Héman, Covaja, Yes!, ATL seafood, Coffeelovers-Blanche Dael, Farm Fresh, Van Gelder, Van Messel Meat (PUL) and Lebouille.
Out of Storage
The exposition which was presented in the Timmerfabriek during the VIPdinner was called ‘Out of Storage’. The exposition consisted of artworks from the collection FRAC Nord-Pas de Calais. Out of Storage provided a glimpse of a typical collection art institution and made visible features, which are usually behind closed doors. For more information about Out of Storage, click here.
